I recently was the event coordinator for an annual fundraiser for the non-profit organization, Builders International. I had a total of 45 guests with me and after viewing the sites of 12-15 other resorts, I decided to host our event at Las Terrazas Resort. I could not have asked for better management and staff. The GM and Assistant GM were present during our arrival, departure, and each of our evening sessions. The Las Terrazas staff went above and beyond the call of duty to assist our group needs any way they could! They worked quickly and efficently with any chance in shcedule and kept postive attitudes and had smiling faces for the duration of our stay. I would hightly recommend this location for any vacation, wedding, or group business event. I was very pleased and will look forward to picking Las Terrazas as my event location in the future.

On a recent stay my girlfriends and I had a truly amazing time at Las Terrazas Resort. As noted the units are more then hotel rooms, they are fully equipped apartments. The staff was completely accommodating. It is impossible to express in words how one feels completely relaxed at this resort. The resort is located ideally on the island, not to far away from downtown San Pedro, yet far enough to appreciate the island beauty. The resort is what made our trip fantastic.

My husband and I just returned from our 14th Wedding Anniversary at Las Terrazas (Oct 6-15, 2009). This is our third year to Belize and the Las Terrazas/Journey's End Resorts. We love it so much that we keep coming back. This year we were upgraded to a full "condo". I use the word "condo" lightly. It is more like a house with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, jacuzzi, 3 decks, full kitchen, 2 large screen TV's with DVD player, i-pod docks, living room, dining room, etc......... As this is the resorts slow time of year, we were the only 2 guests for 4 days! Every staff member went out of their way to say "hi" or to see if there was anything that we needed. We felt like kings and queens. The resort found out that it was our anniversay and organized a special dinner for us on the beach. We were so spoiled that we didn't want to come home. The only bad part of going to Belize in the first two weeks of October is that the island is very slow with only a few tourists. It is hard to find enough people to take trips, although we were still able to go to the Belize Zoo, cave tubing, and snorkeling. If you like snorkeling, Las Terrazas is the place to go. The Belize Great Barrier Reef is a 10 minute kayak ride from the resort. Just tie the kayak to a bouy and snorkel for hours! If you enjoy peace and quiet with specialized treatment, go to Las Terrazas in October. I know that we will be back in 2010! A special hello to Noreen, Jason, Mario, Manuel, Samantha, Pedro and everyone else that I forgot.

I wanted to take a moment to tell everyone how delightful our wedding and stay was at Las Terrazas. Every employee from the pool bartender, Maureen at Journey’s End restaurant, Oval's wife, the different boat drivers, even the maintenance staff were all courteous, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care how each one of us were doing. Both the managers from Las Terrazas & Journey's End accommodated our every request, they were also Johnny on the spot to produce results or provide answers to our questions. Not once did Oval & Cural say no and they always had a smile. Our wedding turned out just like a dream destination wedding from a magazine ad! The location, setup, and presentation was absolutely beautiful for both the ceremony and the reception. The wedding cake I ended up with was 10x better than the cake I had originally selected from the picture choices. In addition my cake had been elegantly decorated in the colors I requested and matched my flower color choices perfectly. Oval and his wife stayed throughout the entire ceremony and reception, they made sure everything went smoothly and even took extra pictures of the ceremony and reception for us. Each one of our guests had the best time at the reception and said the crab cakes were some of the best they had tasted. Everyone also said the resort was top notch and told us we made a great choice by choosing Las Terrazas (even our most critical guests)! This was truly the most stress free perfect wedding a couple could have asked for. Thank you for taking over all of the planning and a big thanks to all the staff members at Las Terrazas! We will definitely come again and we will be telling everyone how great Belize and Las Terrazas are!
